Side Effects
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Adverse reactions include fluid and electrolyte disturbance, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, acute pancreatitis, cushingoid state, growth retardation, menstrual irregularities, increased intraocular pressure, visual disturbances, manifestation of latent diabetes mellitus, peptic ulcer with possible perforation and hemorrhage, impaired wound healing, convulsion and increased intracranial pressure with papilloedema.

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Prednisolone. Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Sunward Deltasolone Tablet 10s (strip)may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Sorticosteroids should only be prescribed when the benefits to the mother and child outweigh the risks. Patients with pre-eclampsia or fluid retention require close monitoring.
