Alkeran 2mg Tablet should be administered on an empty stomach, but continue taking this medication at the same time every day. Side Effects

Take the dosage and frequency of this medication as instructed by your doctor. Swallow it entirely. Don't chew, crush or break them. Alkeran 2mg tablet is taken on an empty stomach. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and anemia (low number of red blood cells), which can lower the number of blood cells cells in your blood, thus increasing risk for infection. Routine blood checks are required to monitor your blood cells along with kidney, liver and heart function when taking this medication.
