How To Use Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-
Heartbeat changes
Skin problems associated with sunlight exposure
Nausea
Vomiting
Dizziness
Numbness and tingling of hand or feet
Unsteady walking
Uncontrolled movement
Blurring of vision
Double vision
While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. Please, consult with a doctor if you are having rashes or blurry visions. Report if you experience any other symptoms as the above list may not be exhaustive. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

Tambocor Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Tambocor varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
Sodium channel blockers
Digoxin
Beta blockers
Phenytoin
Phenobarbital
Carbamazepine
Amiodarone

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is not advisable to consume alcohol with Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s as the alcohol may worsen the side effects of Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s such as dizziness.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies have shown that high doses of Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s can cause some fetal abnormalities in New Zealand White rabbits. However, there are inadequate human studies on the usage of Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s in pregnancy. Some data reported that Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s may cross the placenta and thus it should only be used if the benefits outweigh the risks to the fetus.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s is found to be excreted in human breast milk, therefore it should only be used if the benefits of treatment outweigh the benefits of breastfeeding to the infant.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s may cause side effects such as dizziness or visual disturbances, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment. The maximum initial dose should be 100mg daily and it is recommended to do frequent plasma level monitoring. Some patients with underlying severe renal failure can have a very slow Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s clearance and as a result, prolonged half-life.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Patients with liver impairment should use Tambocor 100mg Tablet 60s with caution and must be closely monitored.
