Trandate 100mg Tablet may be used alone or in conjunction with other medications. It is recommended that you take it with meals. Even if it is possible to take it at any time of day, attempt to do so at the same time each day. Because it has the potential to produce severe withdrawal symptoms, it should not be discontinued suddenly. The majority of individuals who have high blood pressure do not experience any symptoms, but if you stop taking your medication, your condition may worsen. The risk of heart disease and stroke increases if your blood pressure begins to rise again as a result of this behaviour. It is important that you get your blood pressure tested on a regular basis. Taking this medication is just one component of a comprehensive treatment programme that should include a balanced diet, regular exercise, tobacco cessation, limitation of alcohol use, and weight loss, among other things. While taking this medication, you may eat as you usually would, but you should attempt to limit your salt consumption. Fatigue, nausea, dizziness, nasal congestion, ejaculation dysfunction, and shortness of breath are some of the most common adverse effects of using this medication. If any of these side effects are bothering you, you should see your doctor. You should inform your doctor if you have any renal or liver problems before using this medication. Pregnant women and nursing moms should also speak with a doctor before using this medication.
How To Use Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip)
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip). Taking Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip) with alcohol may have additive effects in central nervous system. It further increases the risk of CNS depression.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy as it crosses the placental barrier. There is no teratogenic effects have been demonstrated in animal studies. Nevertheless, Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip) should only be used during the first trimester of pregnancy if the potential benefits are likely to outweigh the possible risk to the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip) is unsafe to be used during lactation as it is excreted in human milk. There are risks of sudden death syndrome, Diarrhea, hypoglycemia although very rare.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
There may be occasional dizziness and fatigue experienced when driving. Therefore, do not drive unless well.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
No dosage adjustment is required including during haemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
In patients with liver disease, Trandate 100mg Tablet 50s (strip) should be used with caution. It should be stopped immediately if there is liver injury or the patient is injured.

Use of Trandate 100mg Tablet may cause a rapid decrease in your condition. Rise carefully, If you've been sitting or laying down, to avoid dizziness or fainting
May cause dizziness. Use Trandate 100mg Tablet with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention until you know it affects you.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure and blood sugar level is advised while on Trandate 100mg Tablet .
