How To Use Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml
This medicine is for oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure it with the measuring spoon given and take it by mouth.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Gut disturbances, Allergic reaction, Stevens-Johnson syndrome
Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml is generally safe to be consumed with alcohol since there is no known interaction nor adverse reaction following consumption of Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml and alcohol ever recorded.Alcohol may further accentuate the symptoms of gut disturbances caused by Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol and Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml concomitantly.
Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)
Animal studies have shown no teratogenic effects and extensive clinical data on pregnant human also suggest the safety of Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml to the women and fetus.Animal studies have not shown reproductive toxicities and there are no well-established human studies. It is safe to be used during pregnancy when indicated. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
There is small traces of Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml detected in human breastmilk and limited data suggest that it is compatible to be used during lactation period.Excretion of Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml is known to be in small amount in human breast milk. Thus, it is advisable to use Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml cautiously during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml is not known to affect the ability to drive or operate machinery, thus it is safe to be used before driving.Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Dose adjustment is needed in renal impairment in which dose reduction or increase should be evaluated according to the renal function or whether dialysis is involved or not.Dose adjustment is needed in patients with kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Unasyn 250mg/5ml Suspension 30ml is safe to be used in hepatic impairment without the need for dosage adjustment as no known adverse effects has been recorded.Dose adjustment is needed in patients with liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.
