Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)

It may be safe to consume Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s with alcohol. However, it is better to avoid alcohol as alcohol worsen GERD symptoms which may cause higher dose of Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s needed to treat the symptom.Alcohol will increase the risk of gut bleeding when consumed concomitantly with Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s especially the patient has a history of stomach ulcer. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment of Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)

There is insufficient data from human studies that demonstrated risk to the fetus. However, animal studies have found that Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s may contribute to harmful effects towards fetal development though they do not indicate direct or indirect effect. It is recommended to practice caution when using Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s in pregnant women.Animal studies and human studies have shown reproductive toxicities when Vimovo 500/20mg Tablet 60s is used during pregnancy.
