Introduction of Zentel Tablet 2s x2

Zentel Tablet is an antiparasitic medication. You can use Zentel Tablet at the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a set time. Do not miss any doses and complete the full course of treatment even though you feel better. Don't take a double dose to make up for the missed dose. Just take the next dose as planned.

How To Use Zentel Tablet 2s x2

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Apart from the list of Zentel Deworm Tablet uses, there could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

Fever
Headache
Nausea or Vomiting
Epilepsy
Dark urine
Prolonged hair loss
Increased liver enzyme
Allergic Skin Reactions
Bleeding
Difficulty breathing
Unusual fatigue

While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. Please, consult with a doctor if you are having rashes or blurry visions. Report if you experience any other symptoms as the above list may not be exhaustive. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

You have been prescribed Zentel Tablet for the treatment of a variety of parasitic infections.
It may be harmful to an unborn child. Do not take it during pregnancy or during breastfeeding. Use birth control to avoid pregnancy when taking Zentel Tablet.
Your doctor may check your blood count and liver function before you start taking this medicine and regularly during your medication.
Stop getting close to people who are sick or have infections.
Tell your doctor if you have any symptoms of infection.
Do not miss the dose and finish the recommended course, even if you start to feel better.
Stopping early can increase your risk of further infection.

FAQ

Is it safe to take Zentel Tablet 2s x2 repeatedly if infection reoccur?

Zentel Tablet 2s x2 does not kill the worm eggs, it can cause the infection to reoccur and can also infect other people. Do consult your doctor or pharmacist if repeated dose is required as to prevent re-infection. Its important to have good personal hygiene to prevent re-infection.

Can I take Zentel Tablet 2s x2 with Fluconazole?

Yes you can take Zentel Tablet 2s x2 with Fluconazole. Please consult with your doctor before taking any medications with Zentel Tablet 2s x2. There are no drug interactions reported. However, it can occur.

Why should I avoid grapefruit juice when taking Zentel Tablet 2s x2?

Grapefruit juice increases the concentration of Zentel Tablet 2s x2 in the blood. Increased amount of Zentel Tablet 2s x2 in the blood will create a greater effect of both desired and undesired effects.
