Adakah gastric digestion Salah satu Covid-19 symptom?

I am 30yrs old lady, came back from Beijing on 19 January, I have selesama and fever , after see doctor and take medicine, fully recover until now. This week I started have gastric digestion problem and sometimes need to take a long breath ( tarik nafas) especially at night , I am not sure if related with the gastric problem but anyway , I don’t have any other symptoms and uncomfortable. And I just came back from Manila Airport on 6 Mac, but I didn’t go around Manila City , only Manila airport and KLIA .
Do I need to take Covid-19 test ? Or any other suggestions? I just worry about it . Thanks !

Hi.

Thank you for your question.

I understand your worry regarding your risk of being infected with COVID 19. Gastric is not a symptom of COVID 19 but difficulty breathing is. If you have difficulty breathing, you are encouraged to answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories.

The decision of whether a person needs to be checked is depending on the doctor’s evaluation of the patient’s history and risks. If a person develops symptoms such as fever and respiratory symptoms, he/she will be further evaluated for diagnostic testing.

You may consult a MOH doctor by clicking Ask Doctor at the Ministry of Health website (COVID-19 Portal) to ask any health issues related to COVID-19 starting from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
