COVID-19 test without symptom

I am a student who just got back from high risk area and is doing self quarantine voluntarily. I don’t develop symptoms so far but could I walk in to hospital and test for COVID-19 before I end my self quarantine? If yea, where shall I head to when I arrive at the hospital?

Greetings!

Thank you for you question. For your information, the tests will be done based on the judgment of your attending doctor based on your health status, since you have no symptoms for the entire period of your self-quarantine.
However, you may visit the hospitals in this list for a COVID-19 screening test. (Designated Hospital for COVID-19). You may ask the emergency department counter in respective hospitals for the screening site of COVID-19.

You may consult a MOH doctor by clicking Ask Doctor at the Ministry of Health website (COVID-19 Portal) to ask any health issues related to COVID-19 starting from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

After 5.00 pm till 12.00 am, please direct your enquiries to our DoctorOnCall website at this link https://www.doctoroncall.com.my/tanya/.

Thank you.
