Based on your enquiries, you wanted to know whether self-quarantine is required for those that have taken their 1st dose of vaccination or after accompanying your relative or dependent individual to the vaccination centre. We will gladly explain it to you.

For your information, an individual that has received their first dose or those that were escorting people to be vaccinated does not have to self-quarantine. However, vaccinated individual would still need to comply to the pandemic SOPs such as wearing a mask, social distancing, good hand hygiene, etc.

More importantly, if you or your dependent individual experience any serious adverse effect (i.e. shortness of breath, high fever, severe vomiting, etc.) following the vaccination, please contact 999 or the nearest hospital immediately.
