I received this Whatsapp message on 13 March 2020, may I please trouble you to verify if this is authentic and correct?

Patients other than covid 19 will be referred to another government hospital …

  • ABOUT COVID-19 INFECTION EFFECT FROM DAILY *

DAYS 1-3

  1. The symptoms are almost equal to giddiness.
  2. Mild throat pain, slight pain.
  3. No fever, no tiredness. You can still eat and drink normally.

DAY 4

  1. A little sore throat, body ache.
  2. Start a hoarse sound.
  3. Body temperature around 36.5 ⁰C.
  4. Start disrupting your eating habits.
  5. Mild headache.
  6. Diarrhea or mild digestive disorders.

DAY 5

  1. Sore throat, hoarse voice.
  2. Lightweight body. Temperatures range from 36.5 -36.7 ⁰C
  3. Poor body, joint pain.

DAY 6

  1. Start mild fever around 37 ⁰C.
  2. Cough with a lender or dry cough.
  3. Sore throat when eating, talking or swallowing.
  4. Fatigue, nausea.
  5. Occasionally difficult to breathe.
  6. Fingers hurt.
  7. Diarrhea and can vomit.

DAY 7

  1. Fever higher than 37.4 - 37.8 ⁰C
  2. Cough more and spread.
  3. Normal body and headache.
  4. Worse diarrhea.
  5. Vomiting.

DAY 8

  1. Fever at 38⁰C or above 38⁰C.
  2. It’s hard to breathe, every time your chest is heavy.
  3. Persistent cough.
  4. Headache, joint pain and back pain.

DAY 9

  1. Symptoms do not change but worsen.
  2. The fever is getting worse.
  3. Cough does not subsist but is worse than before.
  4. It’s hard to breathe and you have to work hard to breathe.

At this time, blood tests and lung x-rays need to be performed.

Regarding “ABOUT COVID-19 INFECTION EFFECT FROM DAILY” that you received via WhatsApp. We can not validate this information and as for now, there is no valid data showing COVID-19 infection pattern. Thus, you are advised to obtain and read credible information that is certified by Ministry of Health.
