Covid-19 Vaccination For Lactate Women

I am fully breastfeed my baby and she just turned 4 months old. Should i take the vaccine, what are the symptoms might be or does it effect my lactation? Thank you.

Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, i completely understand your concern over this matter. For your information, breastfeeding mother are not advised to get the COVID-19 vaccination. Here are the terms for people who can’t take the vaccine:

  • Breastfeeding mother
  • Pregnant mother
  • Person who had a history of allergic reaction to vaccines
  • Person who had a history of admission into the hospital due to bad allergic reaction
  • HIV patients
  • Patients who are undergoing cancer treatment such as chemotherapy

I suggest for you to consult your doctor first regarding your condition to receive the vaccine. A few more questions is needed before giving the vaccine.
