Blood test with result leukocyte positive ++

I have done blood test last week and all are good except for the leukocyte result with positive ++. Do I need to take any further checking and take medicine?
I have dizziness and hard to breath frequently, consulted doc before was due to GERD and did blood test that time, negative in leukocyte. . So not sure these symptoms now are due to Gerd or positive leukocyte.

Hello and thank you for your question on our platform.

Based on your question, I understand that you are worried about increased leucocyte count in your lab report.

For your information, increased leucocyte count alone may indicate ongoing inflammation or infection in the body, it can reversible most of the time but still advised to do regular health check-up visits. Healthcare personnel can deduce probable type of causal trigger or organism by looking at detailed blood profile (type of leucocyte increased such as monocyte, neutrophil, eosinophil and whether the increase with abnormal red blood count or platelet count or abnormalities in other column profile of lab report). Relation between GERD and increased leucocyte count is uncertain as described in your scenario.

Here is the list of probable cause when found increased leucocyte count. Please interpret it based on overall lab report results with help of doctor to seek the most appropriate treatment as soon as possible.
