Priligy/Dapotexine doesn’t seem to work
Hi, I’m facing premature ejaculation and have tried dapotexine twice, before having intercourse. However, it doesn’t seem to work as my ejaculation timeline is roughly the same without consuming dapotexine (~10-15 secs). Any recommendations?

Hi and thank you for asking us
Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, i completely understand your concern over this matter. For your information, it may be due to insufficient dose as the recommended starting dose is 30 mg, taken 1-3 hours before sexual intercourse. The dose may be increased to 60 mg if your current dose is not working. They are other treatments you can try such as:
- Behavioral treatments: there are few tips that can be followed. Most important thing is to find and know the correct muscles. To know your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream or tighten the muscles that keep you from passing gas. These maneuvers use your pelvic floor muscles. when you’ve identified your pelvic floor muscles, you can do the exercises in any position, although you can find it easier to do them lying down at first.
- Correct your technique. Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, let the contraction for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds. Try it a few times in a consequently. When the muscles get stronger, try doing Kegel exercises when sitting, standing or walking.
- Stay focus. For best results possible, focus on doing only your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful try not to flex the muscles on your abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Prevent from holding your breath. Instead, breathe freely during the process. Repeat 3 times daily. It can be done from so it’s a quite handy one!
- Psychological treatments: stay focus and be mindful with the ongoing situation that we are in.
Although this is a general explanation over this matter, i advise you to seek and consult any doctor at your local clinic to get the specific diagnosis.
