Daivonex 50mcg/g Ointment

Daivonex Ointment is a dermatological medication that belongs to the class of vitamin D analogues. It contains the active ingredient calcipotriol, which is known to interact with skin cells in specific ways. Store below 25°C and keep the tube tightly closed when not in use. Keep out of reach of children and avoid exposing the ointment to direct sunlight or heat.

Daivonex should not be used by individuals who are allergic to calcipotriol or any other ingredient in the ointment. It is also not recommended for patients who have calcium metabolism disorders or suffer from high levels of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia). Avoid use on the face, underarms, or groin unless advised by a healthcare professional.

While this ointment is applied topically and food interactions are minimal, it’s important to inform your healthcare provider about any other skin products or treatments you’re using, especially corticosteroids. Concurrent use of calcium or vitamin D supplements should be monitored as it may risk increasing calcium levels in the body.
