Overview

The OneTouch Ultra Soft Lancet is designed to make routine blood sugar testing as comfortable and easy as possible. It’s a small, disposable tool used to gently obtain a drop of blood from your fingertip for glucose monitoring. Its ultra-thin needle ensures minimal pain, making it a great choice whether you’re testing at home or in a clinical setting. Compact, reliable, and convenient—it’s perfect for anyone managing diabetes who wants a less stressful and more accurate testing experience.

How it Works

OneTouch Ultra Soft Lancet works by using a spring-powered lancing device to quickly and gently prick the finger with a very fine needle. This creates a small puncture to produce a drop of blood for glucose testing. The precision-engineered tip helps deliver consistent depth and minimal pain, ensuring accurate results.

Directions for Use

  1. Wash hands with soap and warm water.
  2. Load the lancet into your lancing device.
  3. Adjust the depth setting if your device allows.
  4. Press the lancing device against the side of your fingertip and activate.
  5. Collect the blood drop with your test strip.
  6. Dispose of the used lancet in a sharps container.

Side Effects

  • Temporary slight pain or discomfort at the puncture site
  • Mild redness or swelling (rare)
  • Minor bleeding
  • Risk of infection if lancets are reused or shared
