Tear open the individual pack immediately before use and remove the patch. Apply the adhesive side directly onto the outside of your clothing (such as underwear or the waistband of trousers) over the lower abdomen or lower back, taking care not to apply it directly onto bare skin unless the packaging specifically states it is safe to do so. Smooth the patch down firmly so the adhesive makes good contact with the fabric.

Wear the patch continuously for the duration stated on the packaging, and remove it if you feel excessive heat, discomfort, or skin redness at any point. Do not sleep with the patch in continuous direct skin contact, and do not use it with other external heat sources (such as a heating pad or hot water bottle) at the same time, as this can increase the risk of skin burns.

Not applicable — this is a topical heat-therapy patch rather than an oral or injectable medicine, so there is no oral dose. Apply one patch at a time as needed, and do not use more than the number of patches recommended on the packaging within a 24-hour period.

Use before the expiry date printed on the individual packaging and outer carton. An unopened patch should remain effective until this date if stored correctly; once the individual pack is opened, use the patch immediately, as air exposure activates the heating reaction.

Store unopened patches in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat or humidity, and keep the individual packaging sealed until ready to use, as exposure to air will activate the patch. • It can be safely used alongside oral pain relief medicine such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, in accordance with the dosing instructions of those medicines.

• Apply the patch to clothing over the lower abdomen or lower back rather than directly onto skin, unless the packaging states otherwise.
• Open the pack only when you are ready to use the patch, since exposure to air starts the heating reaction.
• Check the application site periodically for any excessive warmth, redness, or discomfort.
• Avoid combining this patch with other heat sources on the same area at the same time.
• Remove the patch before showering, bathing, or sleeping if the packaging advises against continuous overnight wear.
• Keep a spare patch on hand for longer days out or when you expect to need extended wear.
