Consuming alcohol with Ethinyl Estradiol may worsen the side effects such as headache, dizziness, and nausea.It is not advised to consume alcohol with Nordette Tablet 21s. Taking Nordette Tablet 21s with alcohol may worsen the CNS side effects such as headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, and nausea.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe - High Risk)
Ethinyl Estradiol is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Both animal and human studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus and fetal abnormalities. Please consult your doctor for more details.Nordette Tablet 21s is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Both animal and human studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. The risk involved is clearly outweigh the potential benefits. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Not Advisable)
No academic reports explaining the use of Ethinyl Estradiol during lactation are available. However, the use of Ethinyl Estradiol for breastfeeding mothers is not recommended because it may reduce milk production and decrease the nutrient content in the milk.Nordette Tablet 21s is not recommended to use during lactation because it is secreted into breast milk. However, the potential exposure of the nursing infant to Nordette Tablet 21s can be reduced if the mother takes the tablet immediately after feeding and avoids nursing for at least the following 8 hours.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Generally it is safe to take ethynilestradiol if you are driving. However, do not drive if you feel any side effects such as dizziness, headaches, or nausea, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.Nordette Tablet 21s usualy does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Use With Care)
The use of Ethinyl Estradiol is should be safe in patients with kidney problem. Hoever, consult your doctor regarding dose adjustment if needed.Nordette Tablet 21s should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nordette Tablet 21s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning(Use With Care)
Ethinyl Estradiol should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ethinyl Estradiol may be needed. However, patients with liver carcinoma is contraindicated to take Ethinyl Estradiol. Please consult your doctor. Nordette Tablet 21s is not recommended for patients with liver adenoma and any other hepatic impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Precautionary Steps of Nordette Tablet 21s
Before taking Nordette, please get a doctor’s advice especially if you have any of the following disease. Contraindications:
Allergic to Nordette or any of its ingredients
Liver disease
Asthma or other respiratory problems
Hypersensitivity
Breastfeeding mothers
Hypothyroidism
Breast cancer
Migraine
Depression
Myocardial infarction
Hypertension
Not to be used by children or babies
Please stop taking the Nordette if you experience any symptom.
Reaction towards Nordette:
Alcohol
Caffeine
Aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole)
Ospemifene
Tamoxifen
Tizanidine
Tranexamic acid
Reaction differs according to an individual. You are advised to ask a doctor regarding any reactions that may occur with other medications or substances before taking Nordette.
These are a few reactions between medication and diseases that is incomplete that might cause disturbance to Nordette.

Quick Tips
Take Nordette Tablet at the same time regularly to help you remember to take it.
Menstrual irregularities, such as spotting or bleeding between periods or missed periods, are possible. Notify your doctor if it persist.
While on Nordette Tablet, make sure you get a regular breast exam (to check for lumps or other abnormal changes) and a cervical smear test.
Stop Nordette Tablet immediately and notify your doctor if you experience unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, severe headache, or changes in vision. These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.
Do not take Nordette Tablet and discuss with your doctor if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, over 35, smoke, or have a history of blood clots or heart disease.
