Alcohol may decrease or increase the serum concentration of Vitbion Forte TabletThere is no known harmful interaction between Vitbion Forte Tablet/Thiamine and alcohol and in fact, alcoholic patients were given Vitbion Forte Tablet intravenously because they may have reduced absorption of Vitbion Forte Tablet.
Pregnancy Warning(Limited information)
Vitbion Forte Tablet should not be used in pregnancy to treat megaloblastic anaemia because it is due to folate deficiency and not vitamin B12 deficiency unless indicated.Vitbion Forte Tablet/Thiamine may be safe to use during pregnancy. Controlled studies in women fail to demonstrate a risk to the foetus in the 1st trimester (and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters), and the possibility of foetal harm remains unknown.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited information)
Vitbion Forte Tablet is found in human breastmilk and vitamin B12 is essential in infant's growth as well.Vitbion Forte Tablet/ Thiamine is safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that Vitbion Forte Tablet/Thiamine does not represent a significant risk to the baby and in fact, the requirements for it are increased during lactation period.
Driving Warning (Limited information)
It is not known whether Vitbion Forte Tablet will affect the ability to drive or not. It can be used before driving based on its safety profile.Vitbion Forte Tablet/Thiamine has no effect on the ability to drive.
Kidney Warning(Limited information)
There is no dosage reduction indicated in patients with renal impairment. However, higher dosage requirement may be needed for patients with renal impairment.Studies found that high doses of Vitbion Forte Tablet/Thiamine may actually reverse the onset of early diabetic kidney disease.
Liver Warning(Limited information)
There is no dosage reduction indicated in patients with hepatic impairment. However, higher dosage requirement may be needed for patients with hepatic impairment.Vitbion Forte Tablet/Thiamine is given to alcoholic patients to prevent the development of Wernicke encephalopathy.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Vitbion Forte Tablet is a coenzyme for many metabolic functions which include red blood cell production, fat and carbohydrate metabolism as well as protein synthesis.
Thiamine is an essential enzyme that form thiamine pyrophosphate when combines with ATP and involves in the carbohydrate metabolism
