Esentiel Cool Calamine Lotion is a topical calamine suspension lotion containing calamine and zinc oxide as its active ingredients, formulated with glycerin and bentonite in a liquid suspension base. It is sold over the counter in Malaysia in a 200ml bottle, a larger pack size than some other calamine lotions in the same product category, suited to covering a larger surface area or to more frequent reapplication over a course of use.

The “Cool” branding on this product reflects the cooling sensation produced as the water content of the lotion evaporates from the skin after application, a characteristic shared by calamine suspension lotions generally. Independent confirmation of whether a separately named cooling agent, such as menthol, is included beyond calamine, zinc oxide, glycerin, and bentonite was not available from public sources at the time of writing, so the product carton and package insert should be checked for the complete ingredient list before use.

Allow the lotion to dry completely before covering with clothing. Reapply 2 to 3 times a day or as directed on the packaging. Wash hands after application unless the hands are the treated area.
