Neilmed Sinus Rinse Premixed Sachets

The NeilMed Sinus Rinse Premixed Sachets pack contains 120 individually pre-measured sachets of USP-grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate, intended as a refill supply for people who already own a NeilMed Sinus Rinse squeeze bottle. This is a saline-only refill pack and does not include a bottle.

Each sachet is dissolved in water to make an isotonic saline solution. It is suitable for adults and for children old enough to rinse under adult supervision, contains no medication or preservatives, and is sold over the counter.

Each sachet dissolves in the correct volume of lukewarm water to create an isotonic saline solution, similar in salt concentration to the body’s own tissue fluid, so it is gentle on the nasal lining. When squeezed through the bottle and passed through the nasal passages, this solution physically carries mucus and other particles out through the nostrils.

Wash your hands before use. Fill your NeilMed rinse bottle to the marked line with lukewarm distilled, sterile, or previously boiled and cooled water, empty the contents of one sachet into the bottle, close it, and shake gently until fully dissolved. Lean over a sink with your head tilted forward and down, place the nozzle just inside one nostril, keep your mouth open and breathe normally, then gently squeeze the bottle to let the solution flow through and out of the other nostril (or back out of the same side). Repeat on the other side, then blow your nose gently. Rinse and air-dry the bottle after every use.

One sachet is typically dissolved in 240 mL of lukewarm distilled, sterile, or previously boiled and cooled water for a full-bottle rinse, used once or twice daily, or as advised by a doctor or pharmacist. This can be adjusted for a few days as advised and reduced afterwards for routine maintenance.

Do not use sachets beyond the expiry date printed on the packaging. Once a sachet is mixed with water, use the solution promptly and discard any unused portion rather than storing it.

Store unopened sachets in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, as stated on the packaging. Keep your rinse bottle clean and fully dried between uses, and replace it if it becomes cracked, discoloured, or hard to clean thoroughly.

• Common: Mild nasal stinging or burning, particularly with the first few uses.
• Common: Sneezing or a temporary runny sensation right after rinsing.
• Common: Mild, short-lived ear pressure or fullness if technique is not quite correct.
• Serious: Nosebleed, persistent ear pain, or signs of a new nasal or sinus infection developing after use, which should be assessed by a doctor or pharmacist.

• Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any component of the saline formulation.
• Do not use with untreated tap water or water that has not been distilled, sterile, or boiled and cooled first.
• Do not use these sachets with a cracked or damaged bottle, and do not share a bottle between different users.

• No clinically significant drug interactions are known, as the isotonic saline solution is not absorbed systemically in a way that affects other medicines.
• If using a medicated nasal spray alongside this rinse, it is generally best to rinse first and apply the medicated spray afterwards so it is not immediately washed away; check with your pharmacist for guidance specific to your medicine.
• No food interactions are known with this product.

• Only use distilled, sterile, or previously boiled and cooled water to mix each sachet.
• Confirm your bottle is a NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle or is compatible before using these sachets.
• Lean forward over a sink and keep your mouth open while rinsing to avoid swallowing solution.
• Clean and air-dry the bottle and nozzle after every single rinse.
• Never share your bottle with another family member, even during a shared illness.
• Keep track of how many sachets are left so you can reorder before running out.

Precautions: These sachets are for nasal and sinus irrigation only and must not be swallowed deliberately or used in the eyes. People with a history of frequent nosebleeds, recent nasal or sinus surgery, or structural abnormalities of the nose should seek medical advice before use, and children should always be supervised by an adult.

When to See a Doctor or Pharmacist: Speak with a doctor or pharmacist if nosebleeds become frequent, if ear pain or fever develops, or if you are unsure whether nasal irrigation suits a young child or someone with an existing sinus condition.
