Wash your hands before use. For contact lens care, use normal saline only to rinse lenses after they have been cleaned and disinfected with an appropriate multi-purpose or hydrogen-peroxide-based system, as saline alone does not disinfect; rinse each lens surface thoroughly before wear. For eye irrigation, tilt the head back or to the side and pour or flush the solution gently across the open eye, or use it with an eyewash cup, allowing the solution to rinse away debris. Discard any solution left in an opened, unsealed container as directed on the pack, and do not reuse solution that has already touched the eye or a contact lens for a second rinse from the same container if contamination is a concern.

This product is used as needed for rinsing rather than on a fixed dosing schedule. For eye irrigation, use enough solution to thoroughly flush the affected eye, repeating if necessary. For contact lens rinsing, use sufficient solution to rinse all lens surfaces after cleaning. If eye discomfort, redness, or irritation continues after rinsing, or if you suspect a foreign body, chemical splash, or infection, seek prompt medical or optometric attention rather than relying on repeated rinsing alone.

Use before the expiry date printed on each bottle. As this is a preservative-free saline solution, follow the in-use discard period printed on the pack once a bottle has been opened, and do not continue using an opened bottle beyond that stated period.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, at room temperature and below 25°C, and out of the reach of children. Keep bottles upright and tightly closed when not in use, and discard any bottle whose seal was already broken, or whose contents look cloudy, discoloured, or contain visible particles.

• Common: mild, transient stinging if the solution is used cold or splashed forcefully into the eye.
• Uncommon: temporary blurring immediately after rinsing.
• Serious: worsening redness, pain, discharge, or reduced vision after use, which may indicate an unrelated eye problem needing prompt assessment rather than continued rinsing.

• Do not use if you have a known allergy to any component of the solution, though true allergy to normal saline is rare.
• Do not use a bottle whose tamper-evident seal is broken, or that has been open longer than the manufacturer’s stated in-use period.
• Do not substitute saline for a proper contact lens disinfecting solution, as saline alone does not kill bacteria, fungi, or Acanthamoeba on lenses.

• No clinically significant drug or food interactions are known, as normal saline is chemically inert and acts only by physical rinsing and osmotic matching.
• If used together with a contact lens disinfecting solution, always disinfect first and use saline only for the final rinse, not as a replacement for disinfection.
• There are no known food or drink restrictions associated with using this product.

• Never use tap water in place of sterile saline to rinse contact lenses, as tap water can carry organisms that cause serious eye infections.
• Always disinfect contact lenses with an appropriate solution before using saline only as a final rinse.
• Keep the bottle cap on tightly and avoid touching the nozzle to your eye, skin, or any surface.
• Once opened, follow the discard period on the pack rather than keeping a bottle indefinitely, even if some solution remains.
• Use a clean eyewash cup or pour method for eye irrigation to reduce the risk of contaminating the bottle.
• If you experience a chemical splash, foreign body, or persistent irritation, seek medical attention rather than relying only on rinsing at home.

Precautions: This product is a rinsing and irrigation solution, not a contact lens disinfectant, and should not replace a proper cleaning and disinfecting regimen for reusable contact lenses. It is generally suitable for adults, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, since it is chemically equivalent to normal body fluid concentration and acts only locally, but a pharmacist can advise if there is any doubt. Discard opened bottles according to the stated in-use period even if unused solution remains.
