Uriage Hyseac New Skin Serum

Uriage Hyseac New Skin Serum is a lightweight facial serum from Uriage’s Hyseac range, made for combination to oily skin that is prone to blemishes. It is applied after cleansing and before your daily moisturiser. According to the manufacturer, it helps regulate excess sebum, purify the skin and reduce the look of visible imperfections. It is designed to help the skin look smoother, with a more refined texture.

Uriage lists pure AHA, zinc and Uriage Thermal Water as key ingredients. AHAs gently exfoliate the skin’s surface to help refine the look of pores and texture, while zinc is commonly used in skincare for oily skin. The manufacturer describes the serum as non-comedogenic and dermatologically tested. Because it contains AHAs, using sun protection during the day is essential.

Hot and humid weather in Malaysia can leave oily skin looking shiny and uneven, with visible pores across the T-zone. A light serum layer is often easier to wear in this climate than heavy creams. Apply Uriage Hyseac New Skin Serum morning and evening, then follow with a light moisturiser and, in the morning, a broad-spectrum sunscreen. • Cleanse and dry your face.
• Apply a few drops of serum to your fingertips and spread evenly over the face, avoiding the eye area.
• Allow it to absorb, then apply your daily moisturiser.
• In the morning, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Refer to the expiry date printed on the pack. Once opened, use the product within the period shown on the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol, the small open-jar icon on the packaging, and do not use it after the expiry date.

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Keep the cap tightly closed after each use.
• Do not leave the product in a hot car or other places exposed to high heat.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• This product is generally well tolerated when used as directed.
• A mild tingling or warm sensation on application, which usually settles quickly.
• Temporary redness, dryness or flaking, particularly when you first start using it.
• Increased sensitivity of the skin to the sun because the formula contains AHAs.
• Stinging or irritation if the product comes into contact with the eyes.
• Stop using the product and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any reaction persists or worsens.

• Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients listed on the pack.
• Do not apply to broken, cut, sunburned or severely irritated skin.
• Avoid contact with the eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
• Use with caution if you have very sensitive skin, and avoid using it immediately after waxing, facial peels or other skin procedures.
