This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Rigevidon Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Rigevidon varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

Alcohol Warning(Limited information)
It is not advised to consume alcohol with Rigevidon Tablet. Taking Rigevidon Tablet with alcohol may worsen the CNS side effects such as headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, and nausea.
Pregnancy Warning(Limited information)
Rigevidon Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Both animal and human studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. The risk involved is clearly outweigh the potential benefits. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited information)
Rigevidon Tablet is not recommended to use during lactation because it is secreted into breast milk. However, the potential exposure of the nursing infant to Rigevidon Tablet can be reduced if the mother takes the tablet immediately after feeding and avoids nursing for at least the following 8 hours.
Driving Warning (Limited information)
Rigevidon Tablet usualy does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Limited information)
Rigevidon Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rigevidon Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning(Limited information)
Rigevidon Tablet is not recommended for patients with liver adenoma and any other hepatic impairment. Please consult your doctor.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

1. What should I do when I missed a dose of Rigevidon?
If you have missed a dose by chance, try to consume it as soon as possible when you notice. If the time to your next dosage is close, simply skip the medicine. In such cases, try to not double the dosage.
2. I think I have accidentally overdosed from the prescribed quantity of Rigevidon. Do I need to see a doctor?
If you feel that you might have used more than the prescribed quantity of Rigevidon, please talk to a physician immediately as overdosage more than the prescribed quantity might lead to undesirable side-effects.
3. Am I allowed to drink alcohol after taking Rigevidon?
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended with Rigevidon. The resulting interaction between this medication with alcohol may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness and also it might raise the risk of side effects occurrence. In any case, do not consume more than 90 mL a day.
4. Will the consumption of Rigevidon affect the child that I am bearing?
Use of Rigevidon is not recommended during pregnancy. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Pregnant women can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.
5. I am currently nursing my baby. Is it safe to use Rigevidon during breastfeeding or lactation?
Use of Rigevidon is not recommended during breastfeeding or lactation. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Lactating mother can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.
6. Does Rigevidon have an addictive property?

6. Am I able to drive when I consume Rigevidon?
Not recommended. Rigevidon might make you feel drowsy and cause other side effects. It is considered unsafe to drive when you feel such symptoms.
7. What should I do if I mistakenly took an expired dose of Rigevidon?
Consuming an expired dose of Rigevidon by accident might not be harmful but do consult your physician for advice just to be safe in this matter.
8. Can you explain on the safety of the usage of Rigevidon?
Rigevidon is safe to use if taken in the prescribed dosage as suggested by the physician.
9. In a day, how many times should I take Rigevidon?
The dosage and frequency of Rigevidon is based on your condition. Use the drug as directed by your doctor. Also, please follow the instructions printed on the product insert before use.
