1. Less is More.
Applying styling products evenly but sparingly will allow a more natural look without it looking too heavy or greasy.
2. Pat Dry instead of Rubbing Harshly.
Often times we tend to use a towel to dry our hair and will use force to rustle hardly to get it dry quicker. However, using excessive force can cause breakage of the hair, and should be avoided, especially if your hair is not as thick as it used to be.
3. Opt for matte styling products.
Products offering a matte or semi-matte finish can allow the hair to look thicker than it is.
4. Don't Overheat.
When using a hair dryer, avoid pushing it up to the highest heat setting. Although this would save time, it is extremely damaging to the hair in the long run. Use cold air or a mild heat to dry off the hair.
5. Carry a Comb.
Always carry a simple comb with you especially if you do use styling products in your hair. Most products can be reactivated with water, so if your hairstyle is falling apart at some point in the day, simply damp the comb with some water and comb through it and set it back in place.
