Vitbion Forte Tablet

Vitbion Forte Tablet is an over-the-counter B-complex vitamin supplement supplied in a 10s strip, combining Vitamin B1 (Thiamine), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin). It is formulated as a film-coated oral tablet for daily use.

As an OTC supplement, it is registered for sale in Malaysia without a doctor’s prescription and belongs to the same general category of B-complex nerve-support supplements widely stocked in Malaysian pharmacies, alongside similarly formulated products.

Take one tablet with a glass of water, preferably after a meal to support absorption. Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew it.

Adults: one tablet once or twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Do not exceed the dosage stated on the packaging. If a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless close to the next scheduled dose, in which case skip the missed dose rather than doubling up.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original strip until ready to use, and keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Known hypersensitivity to any of the B vitamins or other ingredients in the formulation.
• Not recommended for use at doses above the labelled amount without medical supervision, as high and prolonged intake of Vitamin B6 in particular has been linked to nerve-related side effects.

• Vitamin B6 may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa when levodopa is taken alone (without carbidopa) for Parkinson’s disease; check with a doctor if you take this combination.
• Certain anti-tuberculosis medicines (such as isoniazid), the amino acid cycloserine, and some other medicines can increase the body’s requirement for B vitamins or interact with them; check with a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of these.
• No specific food interactions have been reported; taking the tablet after a meal is a directions-for-use recommendation to support absorption.

• Take with water after a meal for better absorption.
• Swallow the tablet whole rather than crushing or chewing it.
• Do not exceed the dosage stated on the packaging.
• Store in the original strip to protect the tablets from moisture.
• Check with a pharmacist before combining with other multivitamin products to avoid duplicating B-vitamin intake.
• Keep out of reach of children, as brightly coloured tablets can be mistaken for sweets.
