Ozempic 1.34mg/ml (1mg/dose) Pre-filled Pen is a prescription medicine that belongs to a class of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists, with the active ingredient Semaglutide. This product comes in an easy-to-use pre-filled pen, designed for once-weekly injection under the skin. Some common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, or stomach pain. If you’re starting this pen for the first time, you may notice your body adjusting gradually, and that’s completely normal—just be sure to follow your doctor’s advice and always read the label carefully.

Inject Ozempic under the skin (usually in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm) once a week, on the same day each week, as instructed by your doctor.

The standard recommended maintenance dose is 1mg once weekly, but your doctor may start you on a lower dose before reaching this amount.

Ozempic has a shelf life of 2 years (24 months) from the date of manufacture.

Store unused pens in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. After first use, the pen can be stored at room temperature (up to 30°C) or in the fridge, and must be used within 6 weeks.

Do not use Ozempic if you are allergic to Semaglutide or any of its ingredients. It is also not recommended for those with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Ozempic can slow gastric emptying, which may affect how oral medications are absorbed. Always inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbal products you are taking. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while on this medication.

• Rotate injection sites each week to avoid irritation
• Never share your pen with others, even if the needle is changed
• Store the pen properly and discard it after 6 weeks of use
• Use a new needle for each injection
