How to take your Wegovy
Choose an injection site on the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. The pre-filled pen is ready to use, with no mixing or preparation needed. Use it at any time of day, with or without food.
Remove the base cap and check the medication window. Make sure the solution looks clear and colorless before use.
Place the base flat against your skin, then unlock the pen. Make sure the pen is positioned correctly before continuing.
Press and hold the pen until the injection is complete. You’ll hear a click when the dose has been delivered. Follow the pen’s Instructions for Use.

Returns policy
As a prescription, cold-chain medication, Wegovy cannot be returned or exchanged once it has left our pharmacy, except where there’s a verified delivery issue (damaged packaging, broken cold chain, or wrong item sent).

Dosage
Wegovy treatment is started at a low dose (0.25mg once weekly) and increased approximately every 4 weeks, following a fixed dose-escalation schedule, up to the maintenance dose of 2.4mg once weekly recommended by the prescribing doctor. The 0.25mg/0.5mL pen represents one step within this schedule and is injected once weekly, on the same day each week, at any time of day, with or without food. The exact titration pace, target maintenance dose, and duration of treatment should always follow the doctor’s individualised plan.

- Delayed gastric emptying may affect the absorption of oral medicines, including oral contraceptives, taken around the same time
- Alcohol may worsen gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea and should be limited during treatment
- Always inform your doctor of all prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, and supplements you are taking before starting Wegovy

Store unused Wegovy FlexTouch pens in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C); do not freeze, and discard the pen if it has been frozen. Once in use, a pen may be kept below 30°C or refrigerated for up to 6 weeks, with the cap on, away from direct light and heat, and out of reach of children. Keep it in the original pack until use, and do not use it after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
