What Is Iqnyde? Uses, How to Take It, Side Effects & Iqnyde vs Viagra

Iqnyde is a prescription medicine for erectile dysfunction (ED). It contains sildenafil 100mg, the same active ingredient as Viagra, and is manufactured in Malaysia. If you’ve been prescribed Iqnyde or are considering it, this guide covers how it works, how to take it correctly, the side effects to expect, and who should avoid it.
What is Iqnyde used for?
Iqnyde treats erectile dysfunction in adult men. Sildenafil belongs to a class of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors, which relax the blood vessels in the penis and increase blood flow when you are sexually aroused.
Iqnyde does not cause an erection on its own. Sexual stimulation is still needed. It also does not increase libido, protect against sexually transmitted infections, or act as contraception.
How should I take Iqnyde 100mg?
- Timing: Take one tablet about 1 hour before sexual activity. It can work anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours after you take it.
- Frequency: No more than one dose in 24 hours.
- Food: Iqnyde can be taken with or without food, but a heavy or high-fat meal can delay its effect. For the fastest onset, take it on an empty stomach or after a light meal.
- Alcohol: Heavy drinking can make ED worse and increases the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure. Keep alcohol to a minimum.
- Grapefruit: Avoid grapefruit juice, which can raise sildenafil levels in the blood.
Your doctor may recommend a lower strength (such as 50mg or 25mg) if you are over 65, have liver or kidney problems, or take certain other medicines. Never adjust your dose without medical advice.
What are the side effects of Iqnyde?
Most side effects are mild and short-lived. Common ones include:
- Headache
- Facial flushing
- Indigestion
- Blocked or runny nose
- Dizziness
- Temporary changes in vision, such as a blue tinge or sensitivity to light
Seek urgent medical help if you experience:
- An erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism)
- Sudden loss or decrease of vision in one or both eyes
- Sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears
- Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or fainting during or after sex
Who should not take Iqnyde?
Do not take Iqnyde if you:
- Use any nitrate medicine (e.g. glyceryl trinitrate or isosorbide for angina) or recreational “poppers”. The combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
- Take riociguat for pulmonary hypertension
- Have had a heart attack or stroke recently, or have severe heart disease
- Have very low blood pressure
- Have severe liver disease
- Have a history of vision loss from reduced blood flow to the optic nerve (NAION) or an inherited eye condition such as retinitis pigmentosa
Tell your doctor if you take alpha-blockers for blood pressure or prostate problems, HIV protease inhibitors, or certain antifungal or antibiotic medicines, as these can interact with sildenafil.
Iqnyde vs Viagra: what’s the difference?
Iqnyde and Viagra contain the same active ingredient, sildenafil, at the same 100mg strength. They work the same way, take effect in the same timeframe, and carry the same side effects and precautions.
The main differences are brand and price. Viagra is the original branded product, while Iqnyde is a locally manufactured generic. Generics must meet the same quality, safety, and efficacy standards before they are approved for sale in Malaysia, which typically makes them a more affordable option for ongoing treatment.
