Overview

Apo-Atenidone 100/25mg Tablet is a prescription-only medicine (POM) presented as a tablet, with Atenolol 100mg and Chlortalidone (chlorthalidone) 25mg as its active ingredient content.

This page is limited to product, safety and handling information, in line with Malaysian rules on prescription medicine information for the public. Your prescriber or pharmacist is the right source for anything beyond that, together with the leaflet inside the pack.

Through DoctorOnCall, this product is supplied after an online consultation with a licensed doctor and a valid prescription, and it is checked by a registered pharmacist before dispensing. Take it exactly as prescribed, and speak to your doctor before stopping, changing the dose, or starting any other medicine alongside it.

Directions for Use

Take Apo-Atenidone 100/25mg Tablet once daily in the morning, with or without food. Taking it in the morning helps avoid the need to urinate frequently during the night. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, and do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Dosage

The usual dose of Apo-Atenidone 100/25mg Tablet is one tablet once daily, taken in the morning. Your doctor will determine whether this combination is appropriate for you and will monitor your blood pressure, kidney function, and blood electrolytes (particularly potassium) periodically during treatment.

Storage Instructions

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
