Aluminium and Magnesium Hydroxide works by neutralizing the stomach acid and reduce excessive production of stomach acid. Simethicone has antifoaming properties which decrease gas bubbles in the GIT and removes it through flatulence.

Alcohol Not Advisable

There is no known interaction between alcohol and Activated Dimethicone/Simethicone+Aluminium Hydroxide+Magnesium Hydroxide. However, alcohol is able to worsen the peptic ulcer leading to severe bleeding. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment of Activated Dimethicone/Simethicone+Aluminium Hydroxide+Magnesium Hydroxide.

Pregnancy Limited Data

There are limited data on the use of Activated Dimethicone/Simethicone+Aluminium Hydroxide+Magnesium Hydroxide in pregnant women from animal studies and human studies. Thus, caution use has to be practised during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Safe If Prescribed

Excretion of Activated Dimethicone/Simethicone+Aluminium Hydroxide+Magnesium Hydroxide has been found in human breast milk but the risk on breastfed infants is not significant. Thus, it is safe to be used during breastfeeding.

Driving Generally Safe
