Salonpas Pain Relief Patch ialah tampalan berubat yang dikategorikan sebagai topical counter-irritant patch. Formulasinya mengandungi Methyl salicylate, menthol and camphor, manakala kekuatan atau komposisi kuantitatif hendaklah disahkan daripada pembungkusan produk semasa jika nilai tepat tidak dapat disahkan daripada data kelompok. Bentuk dos menentukan cara produk disediakan, disapu atau diambil mengikut arahan pada label. Formulasi ini mempunyai ciri farmaseutikal atau fizikal yang khusus dan tidak semestinya boleh disamakan dengan produk lain yang mempunyai nama atau kategori umum yang serupa. Menthol activates cold-sensitive sensory receptors, while camphor contributes counter-irritant activity and methyl salicylate provides a topical salicylate component. The adhesive matrix delivers the ingredients locally to the kulit throughout the recommended wear period.
