Salonpas Patch

Salonpas Patch ialah tampalan berubat yang dikategorikan sebagai topical counter-irritant patch. Formulasinya mengandungi Methyl salicylate, menthol and camphor, manakala kekuatan atau komposisi kuantitatif hendaklah disahkan daripada pembungkusan produk semasa jika nilai tepat tidak dapat disahkan daripada data kelompok. Bentuk dos menentukan cara produk disediakan, disapu atau diambil mengikut arahan pada label. Semak pek sebelum digunakan supaya kekuatan, formulasi dan arahan yang betul sepadan dengan produk yang berada di tangan anda.

Formulasi ini mempunyai ciri farmaseutikal atau fizikal yang khusus dan tidak semestinya boleh disamakan dengan produk lain yang mempunyai nama atau kategori umum yang serupa. Menthol activates cold-sensitive sensory receptors and camphor produces a local counter-irritant sensory effect. Methyl salicylate is a topical salicylate that contributes local pharmacological activity. The ingredients are delivered directly from the tampalan to the kulit during wear. Cara pengendalian juga penting, termasuk teknik penggunaan, ketepatan sukatan, tempoh sentuhan dan keadaan penyimpanan. Simpan pembungkusan asal supaya maklumat kelompok, tarikh luput dan arahan pengilang semasa boleh dirujuk apabila diperlukan.

Clean and dry the kulit. Remove the protective film and apply the adhesive side smoothly without stretching the tampalan. Remove it at the labelled time and wash hands after handling; do not reuse a removed tampalan.

Keep unused tampalanes sealed in the original pouch and store in a tempat yang sejuk dan kering. Protect from haba langsung and moisture.

• Biasa: Mild local irritation, redness, itching or transient sensitivity may occur, particularly with topical preparations.
• Biasa: Mild transient discomfort at the application site or sensitivity can occur depending on the formulation.
• Serius: Hentikan penggunaan and seek urgent medical attention for facial or throat bengkak, difficulty breathing, widespread blistering ruam, severe dizziness or other signs of a serious allergic reaction.

• Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any active or inactive ingredient.
• Application to broken, infected or severely kulit yang merengsa where the formulation is intended only for intact kulit.

• Do not combine several topical produks containing salicylates over the same area without ahli farmasi advice.
• People taking anticoagulants or with aspirin/salicylate sensitivity should ask a ahli farmasi before repeated or extensive application.
• Avoid applying the produk under external heat because heat can increase kulit absorption and irritation.

• Read the current label before the first use and check the strength or formulation.
• Use the measuring device supplied with liquid ubats instead of a household spoon.
• Basuh tangan before and after topical application unless the hands are the treated area.
• Keep the pembungkusan asal so expiry, batch and ingredient information remain available.
• Do not share ubats, applicators or single-use topical produks with another person.

Langkah berjaga-jaga: Jangan sapukan to wounds, kulit yang rosak or permukaan mukosa. Avoid heating pads and other external heat sources over the tampalan. Hentikan penggunaan for severe burning, blistering, facial bengkak or kesukaran bernafas.

Bila Perlu Berjumpa Doktor atau Ahli Farmasi: Seek medical or dental assessment for severe, persistent, rapidly worsening or unexplained symptoms, or whenever the produk is not producing the expected response within the labelled period.
