Aqua Maris 100% Natural Nasal Spray – Strong

Aqua Maris Strong Nasal Spray is a 100% natural, hypertonic seawater nasal spray manufactured by Jadran Galenski Laboratorij (JGL) of Croatia, sourced from the Adriatic Sea. It is formulated at a higher sodium chloride concentration of approximately 3.75% (37.5mg/mL) – this is the “Strong” (hypertonic) variant of the Aqua Maris range, meaning it is more concentrated than ordinary isotonic seawater sprays, which sit at roughly 0.9% salinity. It contains no added preservatives or artificial additives.

Because of its higher salt concentration, Aqua Maris Strong is a distinct product from the isotonic sprays in the same range, such as Aqua Maris Classic or Aqua Maris Protecto, and is not interchangeable with them – the hypertonic formulation is intended for different circumstances than a gentler isotonic daily spray. It is sold in Malaysia as an Over-the-Counter nasal spray and is widely available through major Malaysian and Singaporean retail pharmacies.

Aqua Maris Strong is supplied as a metered pump spray bottle. • Blow your nose gently before use, if needed, to clear the nasal passage.
• Remove the protective cap from the nozzle.
• Tilt your head slightly forward and insert the nozzle tip into one nostril.
• Press the pump firmly to release one spray while breathing in gently through the nose.
• Repeat in the other nostril as directed on the product label.
• Wipe the nozzle tip clean with a tissue and replace the protective cap after use.

For adults and children as specified on the product label (hypertonic sprays are generally not recommended for very young infants unless directed by a doctor), one spray is typically administered into each nostril, 2 to 3 times a day, or as directed by the package insert or a pharmacist. Do not exceed the frequency stated on the label. If nasal symptoms being self-managed persist beyond the period suggested on the packaging, stop self-treating and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

• No clinically significant drug or food interactions have been established for Aqua Maris Strong, as it is a topical seawater-based nasal spray that is not intended for systemic absorption.
• If using other nasal sprays or nasal medicines at the same time, leave a short gap between applications and follow the order advised by your pharmacist, as applying several nasal products back-to-back without spacing may reduce how well each one is absorbed by the nasal lining.
• Not applicable for oral medicine interactions, as this product is for intranasal use only.

• Remember that Strong is the hypertonic (higher-salt) variant – do not substitute it for the isotonic Classic or Protecto sprays, which are formulated differently.
• Prime a new bottle with a couple of test sprays into the air before the first nasal use, as directed on the label.
• Avoid sharing your nasal spray bottle with other household members to reduce the chance of cross-contamination.
• Clean the nozzle tip with a clean tissue after each use.
• Keep the bottle upright during storage.
