Artelac Night time Eye Gel

Each gram of the gel contains 2mg of Carbomer together with Medium-Chain Triglycerides as its active components, combined with sterile water, sorbitol, and sodium hydroxide, with Cetrimide used as the product’s preservative. This is an OTC (Over-the-Counter) eye care product available in Malaysia without a doctor’s prescription.

Unlike the liquid eye drops in the Artelac range, Artelac Nighttime Eye Gel is formulated as a thicker, non-sticky gel intended for application before sleep, since a gel texture stays on the surface of the eye for longer than a liquid drop. The product is packaged in a multi-use tube rather than single-dose vials, and Cetrimide is included to keep the gel suitable for repeated use throughout the labelled in-use period once opened.

Artelac Nighttime Eye Gel is one of four products in the Artelac range sold by Bausch + Lomb in Malaysia, alongside Artelac Splash, Artelac Rebalance, and Artelac Lipids, each with a distinct formulation, texture, and packaging format. • Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
• Remove the cap and avoid touching the tube tip against your eye, eyelid, fingers, or any other surface.
• Tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid, and squeeze a small strip of gel into the lower eyelid pocket, typically just before going to sleep.
• Close your eyes gently for a moment after application; your vision may be temporarily blurred immediately afterwards, which is expected with a gel formulation.
• Replace the cap securely immediately after use to keep the tube clean for the next application.
• Do not share this tube with another person, and discard it once the in-use period stated on the packaging has passed.
