Axcel Bromhexine 4mg/5ml Syrup is an oral syrup containing bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg in every 5 ml, manufactured by Kotra Pharma (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia under the Axcel brand. Bromhexine is classified as a mucolytic expectorant, meaning it acts on the mucus-producing glands of the airways to change the thickness of the mucus they release. It contains no antibiotic, no codeine or other cough suppressant, and no decongestant.

• Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines and supplements being taken.
