Overview

Berodual N 20/50mcg Metered Dose Inhaler is an inhaler with Ipratropium Bromide 20mcg per actuation declared as its active content. It is supplied in a pack size of 200 doses.

This is a non-prescription product and can be purchased without a prescription. Only product, safety and handling details are published on this page.

An online consultation with a DoctorOnCall doctor or pharmacist is available for this product, and a registered pharmacist reviews each order before dispatch to Malaysia or Singapore. Follow the directions on the label and on the leaflet inside the pack.

Directions for Use

Use Berodual N exactly as directed by your prescribing doctor. Before first use or after a period of non-use, the inhaler should be primed with test sprays as per the accompanying instructions; shake the inhaler well before each use, breathe out gently, place the mouthpiece between the lips, and press the canister down while inhaling slowly and deeply, then hold the breath for a few seconds before breathing out slowly. Correct technique is essential for the medicine to reach the airways effectively.

Dosage

The dose is individualised by the prescribing doctor according to the severity of symptoms and response to treatment; a typical starting dose for adults is one to two inhalations for acute relief of symptoms, repeated as needed up to a maximum number of inhalations per day as advised by the doctor, and the maximum recommended daily dose should never be exceeded without medical guidance.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and open flames, as the canister is pressurised; do not puncture, break, or burn the canister even when it appears empty, and keep out of the reach of children.
