Overview

Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet is supplied as a tablet, with Gliclazide 60mg, modified-release. It is supplied in pack sizes of 15s and 60s.

No prescription is required for this product, as it is a non-prescription medicine. This page is limited to product, safety and handling information.

If you would like guidance before buying, you can speak to a doctor or pharmacist through an online consultation on DoctorOnCall. Orders are dispensed by a registered pharmacist and delivered to your address.

Directions for Use

Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet is taken once daily, usually with breakfast, and should be swallowed whole with a glass of water rather than chewed or crushed, as this could disrupt the modified-release mechanism. If a dose is missed, do not double the next dose; instead, take your next dose at the usual time and consult your doctor if you are unsure.

Dosage

The dosage of Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet is individualised by your doctor based on your blood glucose response, and treatment is often started at a lower dose before being adjusted gradually if needed, as the tablet can be halved along its score line under a doctor’s guidance for finer dose adjustment. Do not change your dose on your own, and always take it once daily with breakfast as instructed.

Shelf Life

Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet has a shelf life of approximately 36 months from the date of manufacture when stored correctly and left unopened. Always check the expiry date printed on the packaging before use and do not use the tablets beyond this date.

Storage Instructions

Store Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, in its original packaging until ready for use. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
