• Wash your hands and prepare a clean diaper, wipes and a disposal bag before starting.
• With the wearer lying on their side, unfold the diaper and place it underneath with the back panel (the side with the tapes) positioned at the waist.
• Roll the wearer gently onto their back and bring the front panel up between the legs, keeping it centred.
• Fasten the lower tapes angled slightly upwards and the upper tapes angled slightly downwards, adjusting for a snug but comfortable fit.
• Run a finger along the leg cuffs to make sure they are standing up and not tucked in.
• To remove, unfasten the tapes, roll the used diaper inwards, wrap it in a bag and dispose of it in the rubbish bin.

Change as needed, typically every 3–4 hours or straight away when wet or soiled. At night, put on a fresh diaper just before sleep and change it on waking, or more often depending on the level of incontinence. Use one diaper at a time and do not layer diapers on top of each other.
