Overview

Erysol 200mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a prescription-only medicine (POM) that contains Erythromycin 200mg/5ml. It is supplied as an oral suspension and is dispensed in Malaysia only against a valid prescription issued by a registered doctor.

Under Malaysian rules for prescription medicines, this page carries product, safety and handling information only. Your doctor or pharmacist will explain whether this medicine is suitable for you, the dose you should take, and how long you should take it.

On DoctorOnCall, Erysol 200mg/5ml Oral Suspension is reviewed by a licensed doctor through an online consultation and dispensed by a registered pharmacist before delivery. Always follow the instructions on your prescription label and the package insert supplied with the product, and do not share this medicine with anyone else.

Directions for Use

Shake the bottle well before each use. Measure the dose using the oral syringe or measuring cup provided – not a household spoon – to ensure an accurate dose. Can be taken with or without food, though taking with food may reduce stomach upset.

Dosage

The usual dose of Erysol 200mg/5ml Oral Suspension depends on the type and severity of infection being treated, as well as your age and weight, and is generally taken two to four times daily for 5-14 days. Your doctor or pharmacist will determine the exact dose and duration appropriate for your infection.
