Femoston 2/10 Tablet is a sequential hormone replacement therapy (HRT) supplied as a 28-tablet cycle: 14 tablets of estradiol 2mg alone followed by 14 tablets combining estradiol 2mg with dydrogesterone 10mg, used to relieve moderate to severe menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness, and to help prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis in women with an intact uterus who are perimenopausal or in early menopause.

• Known, past, or suspected breast cancer or other estrogen-dependent cancer
• Undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Active or history of venous thromboembolism (deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism)
• Active or recent arterial thromboembolic disease such as stroke or heart attack
• Severe liver disease or abnormal liver function
• Known or suspected pregnancy or breastfeeding

• Enzyme-inducing medicines such as certain anticonvulsants (phenytoin, carbamazepine) and rifampicin may reduce the effectiveness of estradiol
• St John’s Wort may reduce hormone levels and increase the risk of breakthrough bleeding
• Certain antifungal or antibiotic medicines may alter hormone metabolism; inform your doctor of all medicines you take
• Grapefruit juice may affect the metabolism of some hormone medicines and should be discussed with your doctor

• Always take the tablets in the printed sequence; do not skip ahead or take tablets out of order
• Take your tablet at the same time every day to maintain steady hormone levels
