HOE Tefin 1% Gel

HOE Tefin 1% Gel is a topical, over-the-counter (OTC) antifungal gel manufactured by HOE Pharma. Its active ingredient is Terbinafine Hydrochloride at a concentration of 1% w/w, supplied in a 15g tube for external application to the skin.

Terbinafine hydrochloride belongs to a class of topical antifungal compounds widely used in over-the-counter skin preparations across Malaysia. In HOE Tefin 1% Gel, it is formulated into a light gel base intended for smooth application over the surface of the skin.

Wash the affected area with soap and water and dry it thoroughly before applying the gel. Apply a thin layer of HOE Tefin 1% Gel to the affected skin and the surrounding area, gently rubbing it in until absorbed. Wash your hands after application, unless the hands are the area being treated. Use the product consistently at the same times each day for the full period indicated on the packaging, even if the skin appears to have improved. For external use only — avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes.
