Sunplay Water Kids Sunscreen is a children’s sunscreen from Sunplay, a sun care brand by Mentholatum, created to help protect children’s skin from the sun during outdoor play. It belongs to the Sunplay Water Kids line, which is designed with active kids in mind. The sunscreen is intended to be applied by an adult to all exposed skin before children head outdoors. It is a convenient everyday option for school activities, playground time and family outings.

Children in Malaysia spend a lot of time outdoors, and the sun here is strong throughout the year, even on cloudy or hazy days. Young skin can be more delicate and burn easily, so regular sun protection is an important habit to build early. Before first use, it is a good idea to do a patch test on a small area of your child’s skin and check the ingredient list for anything your child reacts to. • Do not leave the bottle in a hot car or in direct sun for long periods, such as on the beach; keep it in the shade or in a bag.
• Close the cap tightly after each use.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Stinging and watering may occur if the product gets into the eyes.

• Topical treatments: If you are using prescribed topical treatments, check with your doctor or pharmacist before layering sunscreen over them.
• Photosensitising medicines: Some medicines can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight; ask your doctor or pharmacist whether you need extra sun protection.
• Insect repellent: If using insect repellent, apply sunscreen first and allow it to set before applying the repellent.

• Dress children in hats, sunglasses and light, covering clothing for outdoor play.
• Try to limit time in direct sun during the strongest hours of the day, roughly late morning to mid-afternoon.
• Apply sunscreen even on cloudy days, as UV rays can still reach the skin.
