Surgiplus KN95 5Ply Face Mask

Surgiplus KN95 5Ply Face Mask is a disposable face mask from Surgiplus. According to the manufacturer, it is labelled as a KN95 mask and is constructed with 5 layers of material. It is designed to cover the nose and mouth as part of everyday hygiene practices in crowded or enclosed places. Each mask is intended for single use and should be discarded after wearing.

• Wash or sanitise your hands before handling the mask.
• Check that the mask is intact, with no tears or damage.
• Hold the mask with the correct side facing out and the nose clip at the top, as shown on the pack.
• Place it over the nose, mouth and chin and secure the ear loops or straps.
• Press the nose clip gently to shape it to the bridge of your nose and adjust for a snug fit.
• Remove by the ear loops or straps without touching the front, discard it in a closed bin and clean your hands.

• Store in a clean, dry place below 30°C.
• Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and dust.
• Keep unused masks in their original packaging until use.
• Keep out of reach of young children.

• Face masks are generally well tolerated when worn correctly.
• Skin irritation, redness or pressure marks on the nose, cheeks or behind the ears.
• A feeling of warmth, sweating or dampness under the mask, especially in hot weather.
• Mild discomfort or a sensation of breathing resistance with close-fitting masks.
• Remove the mask, and consult a doctor or pharmacist if skin irritation or breathing discomfort persists.

• Not suitable for children under 2 years old.
• Not suitable for anyone who cannot remove the mask without help.
• People with breathing difficulties, heart or lung conditions should consult a doctor before prolonged use.
• Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the mask materials.

• No known drug or food interactions.
• Avoid applying thick creams or makeup under the mask that may irritate the skin or soil the mask.
• If you use oxygen therapy or a breathing device, ask your doctor before wearing a mask.

• Carry a few spare masks, as masks can become damp faster in humid weather.
• Make sure the nose clip is pressed to fit to reduce gaps and glasses fogging.
• Avoid touching the front of the mask while wearing it.
• Do not pull the mask down to your chin and wear it again.
• Dispose of used masks in a closed bin and wash your hands afterwards.

This is a single-use mask; do not wash, reuse or share it. Make sure the mask fits well without large gaps at the sides for it to be effective as a barrier.
