Overview

Ticlid 250mg Tablet contains Ticlopidine hydrochloride 250mg and is available as a tablet. It is classified as a prescription medicine and may only be obtained with a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner.

Only product, safety and handling information is published here. Anything beyond that is explained to you directly by your doctor or pharmacist as part of your consultation.

DoctorOnCall is a licensed online pharmacy. Orders for Ticlid 250mg Tablet are processed only after a doctor has assessed your suitability and issued a prescription, and every order is checked by a registered pharmacist before it is sent out.

Directions for Use

Take Ticlid 250mg Tablet with food to reduce stomach upset, at evenly spaced times twice a day. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Attend every scheduled blood test appointment during treatment, as this monitoring is essential for your safety, and contact your doctor immediately if you develop fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, or unusual bruising.

Dosage

The usual dose of Ticlid 250mg Tablet is 250mg twice daily, taken with food. Because of the risk of severe blood-count abnormalities, your doctor will arrange regular full blood counts (typically every 2 weeks for the first 3 months of treatment) and will only continue treatment if your blood counts remain safe.
