1. Sit up straight or stand upright.
2. Hold the spirometer in an upright position.
3. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips tightly around it.
4. Inhale slowly and deeply to raise the balls, keeping them elevated as long as possible.
5. Remove the mouthpiece and hold your breath for a few seconds before exhaling.
6. Repeat at least 10 times per session, as recommended by your doctor.
