Overview
Valens Thixer Thickener is a simple yet effective solution formulated especially for people who have difficulty swallowing liquids, such as the elderly or those undergoing certain medical treatments. It quickly and easily thickens drinks to the desired consistency, making it safer and more comfortable to swallow. Perfect for daily use, it blends smoothly into both hot and cold beverages without affecting the taste. While it’s generally well-tolerated, some users may experience minor bloating, a mild feeling of fullness, or slight changes in digestion—but don’ worry, these effects are usually temporary and manageable.
Uses
Valens Thixer is used to help improve the texture of liquids for individuals with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), making it easier and safer to consume drinks without the risk of choking. Ideal for anyone needing texture modification in their daily diet—whether at home, in hospitals, or elderly care centers.
Benefits
Valens Thixer offers several key benefits: it’s clinically tested for safety and efficacy, halal-certified to meet dietary preferences, and tasteless for a better drinking experience. It dissolves quickly and remains stable, ensuring consistent texture without clumping. Its flexible dosing also allows you to customize the thickness based on individual needs, whether it’s nectar, honey, or pudding-like consistency.
How it Works
Valens Thixer works by absorbing water in beverages and forming a gel-like consistency. This modified texture slows the movement of liquid through the mouth and throat, helping prevent aspiration while enabling easier swallowing. The result is a safer and more controlled drinking experience for individuals with swallowing issues.
Directions for Use
Add the advised amount to your preferred beverage, stir continuously for 10–15 seconds until fully dissolved, and wait approximately one minute before consuming.
Dosage
The recommended dosage depends on the desired thickness level; usually 1 to 3 scoops per 100 ml of liquid, taken as needed throughout the day.
Side Effects
- Mild bloating
- Feeling of fullness
- Temporary constipation
