Voltaren 2% Emulgel

Voltaren 2% Emulgel is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated with the active ingredient diclofenac diethylammonium. This gel is designed for external application and offers a powerful yet targeted approach by delivering medicine directly through the skin. While it’s generally well-tolerated, some people may experience mild side effects such as skin redness, itching, dryness, or a rash at the site of application. Thinking of trying it out? Gently apply a small amount of Voltaren 2% Emulgel to the affected area and rub it in using slow, circular motions. Always wash your hands before and after application unless treating the hands themselves.

The usual recommended dose is a small amount (about 2g–4g depending on the area) applied 2 times daily—morning and evening. Do not exceed the recommended frequency unless advised by your pharmacist or doctor.

Voltaren 2% Emulgel typically has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture. Always check the expiry date printed on the packaging before use.

Store Voltaren 2% Emulgel at room temperature below 30°C. Keep it tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.

Do not use Voltaren 2% Emulgel if you have known allergies to diclofenac or other NSAIDs, or any of its ingredients. It should not be applied on open wounds, broken or infected skin, or if you are in your last trimester of pregnancy.

Since Voltaren 2% Emulgel is a topical medication, food interactions are not applicable. However, it should not be used alongside other topical treatments containing diclofenac or NSAIDs unless directed by a healthcare provider.
