Side effects, safety and when to seek help
As with all medicines, Xepa Aslene may cause side effects in some people. Digestive effects such as loose or oily stools, gas and an urgent need to pass stools may occur, and these may vary between individuals.
It should not be used by people with chronic malabsorption syndrome or cholestasis, people who are allergic to orlistat or any ingredient in the capsule, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
It may reduce the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K), so a multivitamin supplement may be recommended at least 2 hours apart. Tell your pharmacist or doctor about all medicines and supplements you take, especially blood thinners, thyroid medicines, anti-seizure medicines and ciclosporin.
Stop using it and ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after taking it. Seek immediate medical attention for severe stomach pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, rash, swelling of the face or lips, difficulty breathing, or any severe or unexpected reaction.
How to take your Xepa Aslene Capsule
Read the pack and leaflet, and check with your pharmacist if you are unsure whether Xepa Aslene suits you. Tell them about all medicines and supplements you take, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Take it exactly as directed on the label or as advised by your pharmacist. Do not take more than directed, and do not change how you take it on your own.
Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water during a meal, or up to one hour after a meal that contains fat. Do not chew or crush the capsule.
If you take a multivitamin, take it at least 2 hours apart from the capsule. Stop and ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell. Seek immediate medical attention for severe stomach pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or any severe or unexpected reaction.

If your order arrives damaged
Do not use Xepa Aslene 120mg Capsule if the packaging is damaged, the strip is torn or opened, or the box appears to have been tampered with.
Check the capsules and strip carefully before use.
Contact us on WhatsApp immediately and provide photos of the outer packaging and the strip.
We’ll review the issue and arrange a replacement at no extra cost if the delivery issue is verified.
Returns policy
For safety reasons, Xepa Aslene 120mg Capsule cannot be returned or exchanged once it has left our pharmacy, except in cases involving a verified delivery issue, such as damaged packaging, an incorrect item or a missing item.
If there is a problem with your order, contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can review the issue and advise you on the next steps.
The usual prescribed dose is one 120mg capsule taken up to three times daily with fat-containing meals, and the dose should not be increased beyond what your doctor has prescribed, as higher intake does not improve weight loss and increases the likelihood of digestive side effects.

It may reduce the effectiveness of ciclosporin, and doses should be separated as advised by your doctor
It may affect the absorption of levothyroxine and certain anti-epileptic medicines, requiring monitoring or dose timing adjustments
Orlistat can enhance the effect of warfarin and other anticoagulants by affecting vitamin K absorption, requiring closer monitoring
High-fat meals increase the likelihood of digestive side effects, so a reduced-fat diet is recommended alongside treatment

Follow a reduced-calorie, lower-fat, balanced diet while taking Xepa Aslene for the best results

Relevant Information
Xepa Aslene is intended for overweight or obese adults as part of a medically supervised weight management plan and is dispensed only after an online consultation with a DoctorOnCall doctor confirms it is appropriate based on your body mass index, medical history, and current medicines. It is not a substitute for a healthy diet and regular exercise, and results depend on maintaining a reduced-fat eating pattern alongside treatment. Because prolonged use can reduce absorption of certain fat-soluble vitamins and interact with medicines such as anticoagulants, ongoing medical follow-up is recommended to monitor progress and safety.

Within Malaysia, standard delivery takes 3 to 5 working days. Same-day delivery is available in the Klang Valley for orders placed before 12pm; orders placed after 12pm arrive by the end of the next day.
Orders to Singapore are sent as international deliveries and take 5 to 9 working days. A lump-sum shipping and handling fee applies to every overseas delivery and is shown at checkout.
Customers in Malaysia can pay by FPX online banking, credit or debit card (Visa and Mastercard), and supported e-wallets including Touch ‘n Go eWallet, GrabPay and ShopeePay.
FPX and local e-wallets are tied to Malaysian bank and wallet accounts, so if your delivery address is in Singapore, use the payment options displayed at checkout for that address rather than assuming the same list applies.

Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority (HSA) allows personal imports of up to three months’ supply of a medicine for your own use or an immediate family member’s, as long as it contains no controlled drugs, psychotropic substances or prohibited items. Keep the product in its original labelled packaging and keep a copy of your prescription or doctor’s letter with it. Quantities above three months’ supply, and medicines containing controlled substances, require prior HSA approval.
Products listed on DoctorOnCall are registered with Malaysia’s Ministry of Health for supply in Malaysia, and each pack carries its MAL registration number.
An order delivered to Singapore arrives as a personal import of a Malaysia-registered product; HSA product registration is not required for personal-use quantities, but it is also not the same as a product registered for sale in Singapore. If you need a locally registered Singapore product, buy it from a pharmacy in Singapore.
DoctorOnCall’s customer care team handles order, delivery and product queries through the contact channels on the site, including WhatsApp and the online help centre.
For deliveries to Singapore, allow more time before chasing an order than you would for a local Malaysian delivery, as the parcel passes through customs clearance and tracking updates can appear later in the journey.
