Zyrtec 10mg Tablet contains cetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine that relieves symptoms of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever), including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy, watery eyes, as well as chronic urticaria (hives) with associated itching. Cetirizine is well known for causing less drowsiness than older, first-generation antihistamines because it does not cross into the brain as readily.
